Currys Ireland has been confirmed as the Official Technology Supplier to Leinster Rugby in a new two-year partnership.

The agreement marks the first partnership between the technology retailer and the province, with Currys providing laptops and PCs to support performance analysis, preparation and player development across Leinster Rugby.

The technology will be used by the province’s coaching and performance teams for real-time, in-game analysis and detailed post-match review, helping to support data-led insights and tactical preparation throughout the season.

Leinster Rugby players Hugo Keenan, Sam Prendergast and Harry Byrne joined Annie Manley, General Manager at Currys Carrickmines, and Eamon de Búrca, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Leinster Rugby, to mark the announcement at the Leinster Rugby base in UCD.

“We are proud to begin our first partnership with Leinster Rugby, one of the most respected teams in European rugby,” said Keith Daly, Country Manager at Currys Ireland.

“At Currys, we are passionate about the power of technology to drive performance and innovation. We are delighted to support Leinster Rugby with the tools they need to perform at the highest level, and we look forward to working closely with the province over the next two years.”

“Operating at the highest level of professional sport requires the very best resources,” said Eamon de Búrca, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Leinster Rugby.

“Partnering with Currys ensures that our players and staff have access to leading technology that enhances our preparation and analysis. This partnership will support our continued commitment to excellence both on and off the pitch.”

The partnership brings together Currys and Leinster Rugby around a shared focus on performance, innovation and excellence.

It adds to Curry’s relationship within Rugby, having announced a two-year extension to its partnership with Munster earlier this year.
