Cycling Ireland has announced McKvr as its new official leisurewear partner, strengthening its commercial portfolio following a standout year for Irish cyclists across multiple disciplines on the world stage.

The partnership sees Cycling Ireland align with an Irish-owned brand with a growing presence across elite and grassroots sport.

Earlier this year, McKvr also confirmed an extension of its partnership with the Olympic Federation of Ireland, underscoring its footprint in high-performance Irish sport and its commitment to supporting athletes across multiple programmes.

The agreement supports Cycling Ireland’s ongoing focus on providing athletes and members with high-quality equipment and resources, while partnering with brands that reflect its values and ambition.

Confirming the partnership, Cycling Ireland CEO James Quilligan said the alignment with McKvr was a strong fit. “We are delighted to have McKvr on board as our new leisurewear partner,” he said. “It means a lot to be working with an Irish brand that is already so popular with our athletes and members. It’s a very exciting partnership and we look forward to working closely with McKvr.”

Founded by Padraic McKeever, McKvr has built its reputation through work with sporting organisations and athletes from grassroots participation through to high-performance programmes, including its ongoing relationship with the Olympic Federation of Ireland.

Announcing the Cycling Ireland partnership, McKeever said it reflected the brand’s broader commitment to Irish sport. “McKvr are thrilled to join forces with Cycling Ireland as Official Leisurewear Supplier,” he said. “At McKvr, we pride ourselves on supporting athletes and sporting organisations at every level, from grassroots to high-performance programmes.”

He added that insights gained through national and Olympic programmes continued to shape product innovation.

“Our work with elite athletes through national programmes has given us insights that help us continually innovate and deliver kit that is stylish, comfortable and high-performing. We look forward to supporting Cycling Ireland and its members as the sport continues to grow nationwide.”
