Cycling Ireland has revealed a new website and brand identity to mark World Bicycle Day.

The timing comes off a strong year with cycling in Ireland on a high through an estimated 700,000 people getting on a bike on a weekly basis across the island of Ireland.

The new logo is a stylised overhead view of a cyclist made from the initials ‘CI’.

“It highlights Cycling Ireland’s ambition to always support and protect members of the cycling community,” said Media and Communications Manager Scott Graham.

“The ‘C’ wraps around the ‘I’ supporting and caring for cycling in Ireland.”

The new website is fully mobile enabled, features popular cycling routes, facilities and every Cycling Ireland sanctioned event on the island of Ireland.

It has a good clean crisp look to it and is easily navigated for those who cycle for fun as well as finding out about those competing at the highest level.
