Sky Sports will carry a total of 18 fixtures in Ireland and across Britain this season with 12 of them being exclusive.
Sky Sports GAA Football action will kick off on June 26th with a double-header that will see Sligo take on Mayo, followed by Kerry’s clash with Clare.
Hurling fans will want to clear their diaries on July 3rd for a mouth-watering triple-header.
Galway will take on Dublin or Antrim in the first clash of the day. Game two will see Kilkenny face Wexford or Laois, and to top it off, titleholders Limerick will take on the Rebel County.
That is as good a potential lineup as you could hope for and with only hundreds of fans able to watch it will be a potential winner for new subscribers or for taking it on NowTV.
Gráinne McElwain will return to our screens to host all Sky Sports GAA live fixtures.
2021’s Championship season will also see the return of Sky’s mid-week GAA show, ‘Inside The Game’. Hosted by Brian Carney, the show will broadcast every Wednesday at 9 pm from June 16th, on Sky Sports Arena and will feature a range of GAA experts giving their views on all the unfolding drama of the Championships.
Tyrone GAA legend Peter Canavan, the Kingdom’s four-time All-Ireland winner and Armagh coach, Kieran Donaghy, and Donegal legend Jim McGuinness, pictured above, will join McElwain to provide insights and analysis for all Sky Sports GAA Football fixtures.
On the Hurling side, the expert analysis will come from Galway’s four-time All-Star, Ollie Canning, the Banner County’s two-time All-Ireland champion Jamesie O’Connor and Kilkenny’s nine-time All-Ireland winner JJ Delaney.
Lead commentary for each fixture will come from Dave McIntyre and Mike Finnerty, with co-commentary from Nicky English and Paul Earley.
