D/RES Properties has been confirmed as a Co-Sponsor of the 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open, further strengthening the commercial backing behind one of Ireland’s sporting success stories of the last four years.
One of the country’s largest private residential developers, D/RES brings more than 50 years of Durkan family building heritage to the partnership and has established a reputation for award-winning sustainable development. Its communities across the Greater Dublin Area have become synonymous with quality construction, design innovation and long-term environmental responsibility.
The company’s involvement comes at a time of continued momentum for the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, which has enjoyed record Irish representation and rising attendances in recent years.
They join Hiscox, Novellus and Nespresso as Co-Sponsors, McCann Fitzgerald, Amundi, Amgen and BMW as Premium Partners, and KPMG as Title sponsors for the event.
The 2026 edition of the tournament will take place from 27–30 August at The K Club on its renowned Palmer South course, widely regarded as one of Ireland’s premier championship venues.
Patrick Durkan, CEO of D/RES Properties, said the decision to support the tournament reflects shared values around progress and community impact.
“This partnership is about more than sport,” he said. “Women’s golf, and this event in particular, represent progress, resilience, and community spirit — values that align with our own commitment to innovation and community gain. By supporting this event, we’re investing in an initiative that inspires the next generation, delivers lasting value, and gives back to local communities. We’re proud to back an event that continues to inspire, lead, and create opportunity.”
The tournament is promoted by ForeFront Group, whose CEO Cian Branagan welcomed the addition of D/RES to the event’s sponsorship portfolio.
“We are thrilled to have D/RES Properties join us as a Co-Sponsor of the 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open,” Branagan added. “Their reputation for quality, sustainability and innovation makes them a fantastic fit for the event. Support from partners like D/RES is vital to the continued growth and success of the tournament, and we are excited to build a strong relationship with the team this year.”
Since its revival, the KPMG Women’s Irish Open has rapidly re-established itself as a cornerstone of the Irish sporting calendar, attracting leading international players while also providing a platform for homegrown talent. Its growth has mirrored the broader expansion and increasing visibility of women’s sport in Ireland, supported by strong commercial partnerships and sustained investment.
Tickets for the 2026 event are now available, with further player announcements expected in the coming months as anticipation builds for another landmark staging at The K Club.
