This morning it was unveiled that KBC Bank would be taking over from SSE Airtricity as sponsors of the Dublin Marathon.
It brings down the curtain on six years of sponsorship which has seen the race grow to 20,000 runners making it the fifth biggest in Europe, and to move from Bank Holiday Monday to Sunday.
