“Our people want to walk tall in this stadium, they are tired of sneaking out the back door.”

Roscommon’s journey through this year’s All Ireland Football Championship came to an end after a replay defeat to Mayo. It has been covered on YouTube in a mini-documentary series backed by AIB and released on social media over four days last week.

So far a little over 330,000 views have been recorded. That’s already more than five times the population of the county and the number will rise steadily.

It’s a marker for when content creation has come to at the end of 2017. The same sponsor’s Chris and Kammy’s Road to Croker set the bar while others including Centra have also sought to capture the spirit of the GAA.

Here is the final step along Roscommon’s journey…

“You are so deserving of those colours.” AIB’s Behind the Gates mini-documentary series brings us today to the Connacht Final and some emotional and expletive-strewn scenes in the dressing room.

Players coming back from injury are always on the edge of doing enough or too much. That’s captured in the second episode of AIB’s ‘Behind the Gates’ mini-documentary series launched yesterday and available to view below alongside the first in the series.

This first episode brought us to Roscommon’s training camp at Johnstown House, two weeks before the Connacht Final
