
This time next week the NFL will have begun it’s 94th season. It matters to the players, the fans and the estimated 35 million Fantasy Players that will tune in. It is held as one of the principal reasons why NFL has jumped from 47% to 59% following across the US in the past ten years.
When Lenovo (or Lenovio, who cares?) wanted to promote their sponsorship of the Fantasy Game, they didn’t make an ad, they created a mini series on the Onion.com. This is where sports marketing is headed, and it’s fun.
