Guinness, under its guise as ‘Official Sponsor of Belief’ has released the first in a series of five videos with brand ambassador Brian o’Driscoll encouraging us to believe in Ireland’s chances of winning the Rugby World Cup.
It is a short piece of content aimed at sharing on social media and pictures O’Driscoll listing out the five reasons why he believes ireland can win.
“All you have to do is believe,” he tells us and that beliefe was strengthened by the opening win over Scotland, a victory which was also celebrated and shared on social over the weekend but without any overt reference to the Rugby World Cup.

Guinness conducted research ahead of the tournament which revealed over half (58%) of Irish adults believed the Irish rugby team could win the tournament. It is inviting people to get involved and show their belief on social @GuinnessIreland and through the Belief-o-Meter on Instagram Polls @Guinness using the hashtag #IrelandBelieves.
