The idea of sport as war without weapons was taken to a new level by the Leinster Women’s Rugby team as part of pre-season training last week and Videos on the Net was there to record the outcome of their trip to the Irish Defence Forces.
Sene Naoupu is a polished speaker and has appeared on a number of stages alongside Sport for business down the years. She’s never been quite as breathless speaking into a microphone as she is here though.
High summer may not be normally associated with rugby, and we would say a few of the players would have felt it should stay that way after this session…
