Today’s Daily Video comes from the heat of Abu Dhabi where 7,000 Special Olympians from around the world are gathered for the Special Olympics Summer World Games.

Among them are 91 from Ireland who will endeavour, as their athlete’s oath exhorts “Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”

The Special Olympics has and fully deserves a place in our hearts as the embodiment of sport conquering the challenges that life throws at us.

This special video draws together leading athletes and coaches from around the world to tell the athletes, and all of us some truths about belief in ourselves that are universal and powerful.
