Humour is one of the most solid ways in which to win the heart of an audience and that was the approach of Samsung in one of our favourite activation series’ through the Rugby World Cup.

It was in many ways very English so might have done better if the team had progressed further but as a form of longer form content creation it worked to keep us watching. Whether there was enough of a compelling call to action to go and make you buy a new phone is a matter for the marketing and the sales directors…
