Oulo Irish ElksAt Sport for Business we believe in chasing ambitious dreams. There are always lots of reasons not to do something. Sometimes the only reason to do it is because it’s the right thing.

Last month in Oulu in Northern Finland, the GAA came to life in its most northerly location when two local teams, driven by Irish exiles but mostly made up of local players staged a game that symbolises how far people will go to play sport. It was played in a soccer stadium,  with posts strapped on to the side of a soccer goal to make up the right size and with enthusiasm as the driver.

They thought about it, they made it happen and now there is a documentary in the making.

We salute the Oulu Irish Elks and the Helsinki Harps.

We wil follow up when an airing time is announced but this looks as though it will be worth the wait. Thanks to our friends at The score.ie for bringing it to our and your attention.
