The Gaelic Players Association and Dublin City University have extended their partnership enabling two scholarships each on the full time Masters and MBA programmes.
Masters degree courses to which the scholarship may be applied include in Business Management, Business Strategy, Digital Marketing, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Electronic Commerce, Cloud Computing and Commerce.
The DCU MBA Programme is aimed at established and mid-career business professionals and technical and engineering specialists who want to make the transition to senior management positions.
Participants are typically drawn from a variety of industry sectors, including financial services, manufacturing and technology, as well as the public and not-for-profit sectors.
It is established that people who excel in one area of endeavour are more likely to do so across others as well and the dedication and discipline needed to become a top sports star is good grounding for the same effort that is required to get the most from higher education at this level.
Gaelic Players Association Chief Executive earned an MBA at DCU in 2010.
