Sandyford-based Sport for Business member DMC Communications has announced that it is to rebrand as Dialog Communications, effective immediately, in a move that also sees a restructuring of the company’s board of management.

Originally founded in 2003 by Managing Director Diana McCabe, DMC Communications was a communications and events agency that worked on a wide variety of market-leading campaigns and projects, including the JP McManus Pro-Am, Irish Open golf, All-Ireland Scholarships, The International Rugby Experience and more.

All current clients will be retained under the new branding of Dialog Communications.

In addition to its publicity, communications and events outputs, Dialog Communications will also continue to offer specialised services including reputation, legacy and crisis management, benevolent communications and media monitoring.

The Dialog Communications senior management team is comprised of Chair Dermot Fahy, Managing Director Diana McCabe and Operations Director Patrick O’Brien. An executive team also operates and manages the day-to-day business needs.

Having last year delivered the full media and communications output of the 2022 JP McManus Pro-Am, with over 170 national and global media in attendance, Dialog Communications recently won a tender to work on the inaugural Fairways Fore Hope charity golf event at Adare Manor this May.

Dialog will also be working on the 2023 Team Limerick Clean-Up, where 20,000 volunteers are expected to participate in the community tidy-up event; the 2023 All-Ireland Scholarships and associated Alumni projects, and the launch of the hugely exciting International Rugby Experience in Limerick this year.

“This is a very exciting development for the DMC Communications team after 20 fantastic years,” said Diana McCabe.

“With the ever-evolving landscape in communications, we recognised the need to provide a greater range of niche and customised services to our clients and we look forward to embracing these opportunities as we expand the business.”
