It promises to be one of our most popular events of the year, and the first time in an in-person setting we’ll take a close look at the creativity so central to how Irish sport and its commercial partners engage.
This Sport for Business Sport and Creativity Conference is in partnership with Ogilvy and Wilson Hartnell
It will take place on the morning of Thursday, 1st October 2026, running from 09:00 to 12:30 at Dublin’s iconic Light House cinema on Smithfield Square.
Creativity is a defining force shaping modern sport. From storytelling and content creation to branding, design, sponsorship and technology, the way sport connects with audiences has never been more important.
We will host conversations and showcases from some of Ireland’s highest-level creative brands and thinkers, and bring a global perspective as well, so we can all be inspired to be as good as we can be.
We’ll also make it real for Irish brands and sporting bodies looking to be creative without a huge budget.
Join leaders from sport, business, media and the creative industries for a thought-provoking morning exploring how Irish sport can harness creativity to build stronger brands, inspire communities, engage new audiences and create greater commercial impact.
The programme will feature conversations around:
- Why Creativity Matters in Irish Sport
- The Power of Storytelling
- The Athlete as a Creative Brand
- Clubs and Governing Bodies as Publishers
- The Kits We Wear – Identity, Design and Meaning in Irish Sport
- Creativity in Sponsorship and Commercial Partnerships
- Community, Identity and Place
- Reaching Younger Audiences
- The Next Creative Opportunity for Irish Sport
Whether you’re working in a governing body, club, brand, agency, media organisation or the wider creative sector, you’ll leave with fresh perspectives on how creativity can strengthen every aspect of sport.
Tickets are on sale now, with Speaker announcements starting next week as we build towards one of our key gatherings of Sport for Business members in 2026.
