Domino’s has strengthened its commitment to Irish basketball by signing a new three-year agreement as title sponsor of Basketball Ireland’s Men’s and Women’s Super League and Division One competitions.
The renewal will cover the 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29 seasons and builds on a partnership that began midway through the 2024/25 campaign.
The announcement coincides with the publication of fixtures for the new national league season, which begins on October 3rd, with the defending men’s and women’s champions both facing significant opening-day tests.
Ballincollig will begin the defence of the Domino’s Men’s Super League title away to Limerick Celtics, while Domino’s Women’s Super League champions Trinity Meteors will host Career Decisions UCC Glanmire in a repeat of last season’s playoff final.
For Domino’s, the extension provides a nationwide platform that connects the brand with clubs, players, supporters, and communities across all four senior national competitions.
“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Basketball Ireland for another three years,” said Eoin Corrigan, Domino’s Ireland Head of Marketing.
“Basketball connects with passionate, engaged communities right across Ireland, and as title partner of the Men’s and Women’s Super League and Division One, we’re proud to support the sport, while also continuing to strengthen the connection with local stores and the towns they serve.”
The partnership gives Domino’s a presence throughout the national league calendar, encompassing the leading men’s and women’s clubs, as well as teams competing in the second tier.
The structure provides opportunities for both national brand activity and local activation through the company’s network of stores, with basketball clubs embedded in communities across the country.
“Domino’s has been an outstanding partner for Basketball Ireland, and this renewal reflects the strength of that relationship,” said Gus Lewis, Basketball Ireland Head of Commercial and Brand.
“Extending as title partner of the Men’s and Women’s Super League and Division One for a further three years comes at a huge time for the game, with participation and attendances continuing to grow year-on-year.
“We’re excited to build on what we’ve achieved together and take the sport even further over the next three years.”
