Sam Maguire and Dublin players visit AIGDublin GAA players have been in inevitable demand in recent weeks but it was equally inevitable that when AIG wanted to bring Sam Maguire into their Dublin Head Office that there would be a stronger team of players than had gathered for any other commercial event.

There was no team sponsor when Dublin last won back to back All Ireland’s and AIG are proud of the relationship they have built with team, management and players over the last three years.

Yesterday they were at the Quayside offices to chat, meet with staff and customers and have lots and lots of pictures taken with the Leinster, National league and All Ireland trophies.

Sponsorship is often looked at as primarily a means to drive sales and awareness.  It is also a key component in keeping talented staff engaged within your business and stopping them in a positive way from heading to a rival.

Most of those who met with the players yesterday will have gone home with a warm glow, a valuable new home screen image on their phones and a fresh feeling that working in insurance has its benefits.
