The FAI has launched its Safer Return to Football Training protocol document for all SSE Airtricity League and Women’s National League clubs.
All levels of the game will be allowed to return to training on Monday, June 15 joining Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Derry City, all of whom began collective training today under the pilot programme for a four-team tournament helping them to prepare for potential European competition.
The protocol document covers all aspects of how SSE Airtricity League & Women’s National League clubs can return to training while maintaining strict adherence to public health guidelines at all times.
Today’s protocol publication covers the senior leagues. A separate protocol document for adult amateur and underage football includes guidelines for the SSE Airtricity League under-age and WNL Under-17 Leagues.
Subject to Government guidelines, no matches – competitive or friendly – are allowed until further notice under the jurisdiction of the FAI.
