The Federation of Irish Sport has announced the line up for the Innovation night as part of the upcoming Irish Sport Industry Innovation Series.

Lewis Wiltshire, the former Head of the BBC Sport website and who spent time with Twitter before joining Seven League will be joined by Jill Downey, MD of Core Sponsorship and Fiona Chambers of UCC to discuss a number of areas that are changing the way in which sport is consumed, enjoyed and managed.

They will be interviewed on the night by Trev Keane of Epic Global Agency.

Other speakers on the night will also include a keynote address by Grainne Barry, VP Digital and Business Operations Stats Perform and Co-founder of SportsTech Ireland.

COVID-19, among other environmental factors, has hugely increased the focus on digital transformation and innovation in all sectors but particularly in sport where traditional models of delivery have faced significant challenges.

The speakers respective experiences will bring a unique spectrum of views and experiences as part of the three evening series.

It takes place from 20th – 22nd April 2021, with the Innovation night set for the 22nd, following on from an Investment focused night hosted by Rob Hartnett of Sport for Business and an International evening hosted by Declan Conroy.
