We are just over two weeks away from our annual gathering to highlight and explore the role of Women in Irish Sport. Only a handful of tickets are left for the half-day session taking place at the studios of RTÉ on Wednesday morning, November 13th and today we are delighted to welcome World Champion and Tokyo Olympic hopeful Kellie Harrington as the latest name to join our Player Perspective panel on the day.
Harrington is the reigning Irish Times / Sport Ireland Sports Woman of the Year and we are delighted to welcome her to a great line up of speakers that we are excited to host.
This is the sixth year we will have gathered to debate the issues, celebrate the wins and question where we need to go next.
We will look at how Swedish TV has pulled together different sporting bodies to create far greater awareness and visibility of its sporting stars competing beyond the major spectator sports.
We will be talking to those who are making the greatest difference in how Women can be treated as more than second class citizens when it comes to sport.
Coming along will mean you are part of the debate, part of the future of Women in Sport.
Last year’s event sold out well in advance and we are down to less than 20 available tickets now for our 2019 event so please do book your place if you want to attend as there is nothing we can do to make the venue any bigger.
Here is our provisional running order at the moment and we will be unveiling new speakers and elements over the coming days and weeks as we count down to the event. Please note the earlier start time.

Our annual gathering to highlight and explore the role of Women in Irish Sport will take place in Dublin on Wednesday morning, November 13th.
It promises, as ever, in this its sixth year to be a lively morning looking at a number of important issues and learning from campaigns that will come to life this year in Ireland and across Europe.
Media coverage, participation and attendance will be three of the key elements we will explore with speakers from Ireland and overseas, and there will be a mix of knowledge bursts covering different elements of the world of women in Sport.
Coming along will mean you are part of the debate, part of the future of Women in Sport.
Last year’s event sold out well in advance and tickets are currently available for Sport for Business members on an exclusive basis. We will open up to non-members if there are tickets left, on Thursday, October 24th.
