Irish based Future Ticketing has confirmed a multi-year partnership with The Jockey Club, the largest racecourse group in the UK.
The company, based in Tullamore, and which has a strong base of customers in ireland including most clubs in the League of Ireland, Basketball Ireland, Gymnastics Ireland, Connacht Rugby, the National Ploughing Championships and Sport for Business, has also signed a partnership agreement in Australia as it prepares to enter the country’s sizeable market of over 370 racecourses.
It is the leading provider of digital ticketing to racecourses in the UK and Ireland, with a total of 62 racecourses including tracks in the Middle East and North America and catering for a combined annual attendance of c. 10 million.
The partnership with The Jockey Club has seen Future Ticketing’s software and API ticketing infrastructure rolled out across 15 racecourses for up to 2 million people who attend its 332 race days each year, including the upcoming Christmas Meeting 2023 at Cheltenham Racecourse on December 15-16.
Ticketing is also provided for attendances on non-race days including conferences, music and entertainment.
Prior to today’s announcement, Future Ticketing has already successfully delivered a seamless service for three of the most iconic festivals of the racing calendar in 2023 at the Cheltenham Festival, the Aintree Grand National Festival, and the Derby Festival at Epsom Downs, with all three in the top-10 most attended sporting events in the UK.
