GAA stars Tom Morrissey and Niamh Mallon will swap the pitch for the festival stage this weekend as they team up with Nestlé Health Science’s Solgar brand at WellFest 2025, Europe’s largest outdoor health, fitness and wellness event, taking place at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on May 10–11.

Morrissey, a five-time All-Ireland hurling champion with Limerick, and Mallon, a standout Camogie forward who now represents Galway after previously lining out for Down, will be on-site Sunday, May 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as part of Team Solgar.

The two inter-county athletes will take time out from their busy playing and training schedules to meet fans, share insights into their fitness routines and nutrition, and lead interactive GAA skills sessions.

Visitors can also look forward to a photo opportunity with the Liam MacCarthy and Sam Maguire Cups, on display alongside a specially designed Croke Park-themed 360-degree photo booth.

The Team Solgar zone will also feature performance nutritionist and gymnastics coach Nicole Shaw, who will be on hand both days to offer health and nutrition advice, including guidance on staying energised throughout the festival.

Solgar’s appearance at WellFest marks its first time at the event. It comes on the heels of a new three-year partnership with the GAA and Gaelic Players Association (GPA), which named Solgar the official vitamin partner of the GAA/GPA.

The partnership also includes sponsorship of the GAA Museum at Croke Park and a roster of brand ambassadors, including Morrissey, Mallon, Paul Conroy of Galway, and Katie Quirke of Cork.

“We are thrilled to be part of WellFest for the first time,” said Natalia Lobetska of Solgar.

“Our Solgar zone will offer attendees the chance to learn about our products and hear from inspirational athletes like Tom and Niamh. It’s about celebrating performance, well-being, and creating golden moments the Solgar way.”

Visitors to the Festival can expect GAA-themed challenges, expert-led health discussions, and a unique opportunity to connect with some of the biggest names in Irish sport in a relaxed, festival environment.
