Rugby World Cup TicketsTicket applications to go to the Rugby World Cup were massively oversubscribed in the first phase.

While some of those disappointed will pick up match packages in the second round of open public sales, the proximity of the tournament in England, as well as Ireland’s current sparkling form means that the hospitality sector will be an important avenue for a newly resurgent corporate sector.

Sport for Business member CSL Hospitality will be the ones looking to manage that demand having been appointed by Rugby World Cup Limited as the official hospitality agent in Ireland.

“After the stunning success against South Africa we have already seen a groundswell of wanting to be there in England next year,” said CSL Director Joanne Keegan.”

“With the venues being so close and Ireland going so well as RBS 6 Nations Champions we are expecting record demand for what will be the hottest ticket in town.”

Package prices for entertainment in a dedicated Club lounge at Wembley or the Millennium Stadium for group matches start at a little over €500 and climb steadily through to full corporate box options at Ireland’s games in the group stage and as they progress through the tournament.
