The Ireland Women’s National Team is calling on fans to go all in against cancer this Daffodil Day, Friday, March 22.
Ahead of their international friendly against Cymru tomorrow at Tallaght Stadium, the Girls in Green turned yellow to show their support for the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day.

“Unfortunately, there isn’t a family in Ireland that hasn’t been touched by cancer,” said Captain Katie McCabe.
“Even us a group of players, we have an amazing teammate – Chloe Mustaki – who has been through a diagnosis. The Irish Cancer Society is there to support patients and families affected by cancer so that nobody has to face cancer alone.”
“We’re delighted, as a squad, to be going all in against cancer this Daffodil Day and we’re calling on the public to get involved and show their support on the 22nd of March.”

“All our essential services, like free counselling, night nursing, and our transport service, are fueled by the public’s support on Daffodil Day. We’re urging communities across Ireland to get involved and go all in this Daffodil Day and help us to do more.”
