Global nutrition company Herbalife, sponsors of Robbie Keane and Steven Gerrard’s LA Galaxy have announced a new multi-year sponsorship deal with Shamrock Rovers and perhaps more controversially with with three-time All Star and Kilkenny hurling star, TJ Reid.
The two deals will run through to 2018 and will see Herbalife become the nutrition and sports performance partner of both. As part of the sponsorship agreement, Herbalife will provide the full range of Herbalife24 products to aid them with their training regimes.

Kilkenny GAA are sponsored by Avonmore which is part of Glanbia, which has become the world’s largest sports nutrition company. Whether a discussion ever took place with Reid about his new deal is not yet clear…
