Specialist home and business insurer Hiscox Ireland has been confirmed as the Official Insurance Partner for the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open, marking its second consecutive year supporting the prestigious tournament.
With over 3,000 employees across 32 offices in 14 countries, including a strong presence in Dublin, Hiscox’s renewed sponsorship represents a continued commitment to the growth of women’s golf in Ireland.
The company first partnered with the event in 2024, a record-breaking year that drew more than 37,000 spectators to Carton House.
Richard O’Dwyer, Managing Director of Hiscox Ireland, expressed his enthusiasm ahead of this year’s championship.
“We were thrilled to be a part of last year’s event, which welcomed a record-breaking 37,000 spectators on course, and many more watching at home,” he said.
“Annabel Dimmock’s playoff win was an enthralling watch, and we are delighted to have Irish pro Lauren Walsh take part in our promotional video this year, especially given her stellar rise in 2025.”
The brand has been exercising its creativity as well through a lighthearted promotional video featuring social media personality Eric Roberts as the comically inept “Bad Caddy.”
The tournament, set to take place at the O’Meara Course in Carton House from July 3, will feature a star-studded field, including Olympians and Solheim Cup players Charley Hull, Georgia Hall, Madelene Sagström, and Anna Nordqvist.
Irish star Leona Maguire is also set to return, following her top-15 finish in last year’s event.
Cian Branagan, CEO of ForeFront Group, welcomed Hiscox’s renewed partnership.
“We are delighted to welcome back renowned insurance specialists Hiscox as the Official Insurance Partner of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open for a second consecutive year.”
“Their continued support is vital to the event’s success, and we’re proud to build on the achievements of last year’s tournament together.”
The 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open will feature a €450,000 prize fund as players vie to claim Annabel Dimmock’s 2024 title.
