RTÉ Sport will have live coverage as both Ireland’s Men’s and Women’s sides face-off against Canada in Olympic Qualifiers over the next two weekends.
Tomorrow and Sunday sees the men face Canada over two-legs in Vancouver live on RTÉ Player and RTÉ News Now with Darragh Maloney joined on commentary by Sarah Scott.
Push back on Saturday is at 10.10pm with coverage beginning at 10.00pm while on Sunday coverage starts at 9.00pm with push back at 9.10pm.
On Saturday 2 November at 6.30pm on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player Evanne Ní Chuilinn will be joined by Cliodhna Sargent, Colin Stewart and Kate Dillon for live coverage of the Ireland Women’s side v Canada from Energia Park, Donnybrook.
Push back is 7.00pm with commentary from Darragh Maloney and Sarah Scott while on Sunday 3 November at 6.30pm on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player Ni Chuillin will again be joined by the same team for the second leg from Energia Park.
These games represent a brand new format of FIH Olympic Qualifiers with two matches within 24 hours and the aggregate score determining the direct ticket to next summer’s Olympics in Tokyo.
