Horse Sport Ireland have signed a major new partnership deal which will see Investec become the first ever corporate sponsor for the Irish show jumping team.
The deal will see Investec come on board as official partners for two key events this summer, the Dublin Horse Show and the FEI European Championships at Aachen in Germany. Both events will be critical as Ireland’s show jumpers look to secure qualification for the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Ireland now has eight riders placed in the world top 100 with Bertram Allen at number seven. Allen was on hand along with Captain Michael Kelly and Greg Broderick for the announcement.
Investec is a major sponsor within sport around the world. It is the long term partner of the Epsom Derby and the Investec Rugby Championship is the southern hemisphere equivalent in Rugby of the RBS 6 Nations. It is also a major supporter of Hockey in England while in Ireland it is best known for its support of Monaghan GAA.
