Irish Life has been confirmed for a second successive year as an official partner of the 2026 Dublin City Council Dublin City Half Marathon, continuing its support of one of the capital’s fastest-growing participation events.
The partnership with the Dublin Marathon Group will again see Irish Life aligned with a race that starts in the heart of Dublin 1, close to the company’s city centre campus, strengthening the connection between the event, the sponsor and the local community.
As part of the renewed collaboration, Irish Life will introduce a new Milestone Finisher Prize initiative for the 2026 race, with runners crossing the finish line in randomly selected positions set to receive special recognition.
The activation is designed to celebrate participation across the full field, rather than solely rewarding podium finishers, and reflects a shared commitment between Irish Life and Dublin Marathon Group to fostering a more inclusive and engaging race-day experience.
The Dublin City Council Dublin City Half Marathon has grown into one of the most popular road running events in the Irish calendar, attracting participants from elite competitors to first-time half marathon runners.
Irish Life’s continued backing reinforces the increasing attractiveness of mass participation events to brands seeking meaningful community engagement and health and wellness alignment.
