In the second part of our four-part series examining Irish Sport on Social media in June 2025, we turn our attention to Facebook, which saw a 16 per cent increase in public engagement from the previous month.

Olytico’s overall analysis for June 2025 encompasses over 14,000 posts, 5.9 million engagements, and 24.8 million views of Sport for Business organisation’s content on TikTok.

As we reach the halfway mark of 2025, Olytico’s analysis for this year to date has covered 79,247 posts (+6% on the same time period in 2024), 33.85 million public engagements (-6.5%) and 140.3 million views on Sport for Business member content on TikTok (+56%) highlighting the increased prominence and importance of the platform for sport.

Throughout this week’s coverage, we have ranked each organisation across a range of metrics on each network, including the most active, the most engaged with, and the most engaging content, as well as engagements per 1,000 followers where possible.

It is important to note that this analysis is based on publicly available data. It does not include any analysis or insight on paid or promoted content. When % figures are used (unless otherwise stated), they refer to the previous month’s figures.
