Later this week the Federation of Irish Sport will be announcing the launch of the 2023 Irish Sport Industry Awards, together with a new sponsor of the Awards.
It is a very highly regarded recognition and this year once again we are delighted to be involved with Rob Hartnett chairing the judging panel for categories including sponsorship, inclusion, sports business, Women in Sport initiatives, National Governing Body of the Year, and Local Sports Partnership of the Year.
The quality of the Awards is often determined, at least in part by the quality of the judging process, and this is an awards where this is taken very seriously.
We have had some really strong judges down the years of the Awards and we want to make sure that this continues.
With this in mind and conscious of the need to offer the opportunity to new judges to put themselves forward to be part of the team, we would like to invite anyone who feels they could make a contribution as a judge to put raise their hand for consideration.
The judging panel will be determined in consultation with the Federation of Irish Sport and it is likely that we will be significantly oversubscribed for those wanting to play their part so we will not be able to accommodate everyone. But we do want to give you the chance to be considered.
The time requirement will be a minimum of one half day of personal judging of submissions and nominations using a dedicated online platform followed by another half day of in-person collective consideration of the different nominations, in Dublin, during the week commencing 8th May.
If you feel that you would be interested in a role as a judge, we would be delighted to hear from you using the form below or via email to rob@sportforbusiness.com by next Monday, April 17th.
