The Ladies Gaelic Football Association and All Ireland Championship sponsors TG4 will be broadcasting ‘Live from the Red Carpet’ on Facebook this weekend as the All-Star Awards get underway at the Citywest Hotel next Saturday evening, December 1.
Following on from the huge success of last year’s inaugural Facebook Live from the TG4 All Stars, viewers can once again tune in for a series of exclusive interviews with the game’s top stars ahead of the 2018 TG4 All Star banquet, in association with Lidl.
The event will be streamed live and simultaneously on both the Ladies Gaelic Football and Spórt TG4 Facebook pages from 6.30pm.
Gráinne McElwain will be the host for ‘LIVE from the Red Carpet’ previewing the special night on the Ladies Gaelic Football Association calendar, and also looking back on the year that was.
The TG4 Goal of the Season winner will be unveiled during the course of the show with championship strikes from Catriona Cormican (Galway), Niamh Hughes (Tyrone), Áine O’Sullivan (Cork), Nicole Owens (Dublin) and Alice Kelly (Roscommon) all in the running.
Later in the night, at the TG4 All-Star banquet, the 2018 TG4 All-Star award winners will be announced, along with the Players’ Player of the Year recipients in the junior, intermediate and senior grades.
