The third Sport for Business Members’ Round Table of 2017 takes place in Dublin tomorrow.
We will be looking at the ‘Live Experience’ and are delighted to welcome Nielsen Sports over from London to give a presentation on the insights they have gained on the motivations and actions that draw fans to events and leave them with a positive memory.
The Round Table series is a monthly gathering of different individuals from within the Sport for Business community. For the Live Experience event we will welcome Peter McKenna from the GAA, Paul Dermody from Leinster Rugby, Sinead Cassidy from the Galway Races, Eavan Mulligan from the FAI, Derek McGrath from the Curragh Racecourse, Gerry Nixon from Vodafone, Maeve Buckley from Line Up, Fintan Walsh from Nemeton TV, Richard Tierney from Richard Tierney Management, Adrienne Regan from Davy and JP Montgomery from Basketball Ireland.
Tomorrow’s event takes place in the Tribeca Room on Upper Pembroke Street and will run from 1530 to 1730.
Among the subjects we will cover are how rights holders and sponsors divide responsibility for fan experience; how the time on site can be extended; the motivation for whether fans enjoy an active or a passive experience; the lessons that can be learned from beyond sport and more.
The Sport for Business Round Table events are for those in attendance to share, engage, learn and perhaps think a little differently about how they handle the subject at hand.
Our next two Round Table events will be as follows. Please do let us know if you would like to be part of these conversations.
