Leinster Rugby has confirmed this morning that the BKT United Rugby Championship game against Munster Rugby on Saturday, October 12th, will be hosted in Croke Park, with a kick-off at 17:45.

The game is Leinster’s second home game of the season and will see Leinster host Munster at the home of the GAA for the first time since the Champions Cup semi-final in 2009, when Leinster won in front of over 82,000 spectators.

Leinster Rugby will play games outside of the RDS Arena from September as the Arena is undergoing refurbishment. As a result, the majority of home games in the 2024/25 season will be played in Aviva Stadium, with several games designated for Croke Park.

Leinster played against Northampton Saints in the semi-final of last year’s Champions Cup, and tickets for that game sold out in as little as 36 hours.

Tickets for the game against Munster Rugby will go on public sale on Friday, 30 August 2024. Before the public sale, current Leinster Rugby Season Ticket Holders will have a window to upgrade their tickets.

This is the same process as would have applied to previous Munster games being hosted in the Aviva Stadium, rather than the RDS.

Once Season Ticket Holders have had a window to access tickets, the remaining tickets will then go on sale to the public.
