Leinster Rugby and the IRFU Charitable Trust have announced a formal partnership that sees the Trust become Leinster’s dedicated rugby charity partner.

The Trust supports 36 seriously injured rugby players and their families in Ireland and the partnership will see Leinster Rugby support the Trust across a number of fundraising initiatives starting at the Leicester Tigers game at Aviva Stadium on Saturday, 6 April.

Proceeds from the sale of the match programme will go towards the Trust.

Tania Rosser and Leo Cullen, Aoife Moore, Ronan Kelleher and Jordan Larmour were all at yesterday’s launch of the partnership at Leinster along with IRFU Charitable Trust Communications Manager Marc Sheridan, IRFU Charitable Trust Chair Care Sub-Committee and Trustee Cliff Beirne, former Skerries RFC player Bernard Healy, IRFU Charitable Trust Chairperson Michael Whelan, former Wanderers FC player Garrett Culliton, and IRFU Charitable Trust Operations Manager Linda Black.
