Cork is a city where sport matters and this morning, Tuesday March 10th Sport for Business and Leading Sport will join leaders from across the business of sport for a special breakfast and conversation at SuperValu Pairc Uí Chaoimh.
We will be joined on stage by some of those leading the way in advancing the importance of sport for the social and economic strength of the city over the coming years.
Sinead O’Keeffe from Cork GAA, Philip Quinn from Munster Rugby and Matt McKerrow from Rowing Ireland will join Rob Hartnett for a panel discussion and Maeve Buckley from Leading Sport will take us through what it looks like to be a great Sporting City.
Within the room will be many of those who will play an important part in harnessing the power and the passion that sport brings to the fore, and turning it into a force for real and substantive benefit for Cork City and County.
The event will take place at the stadium on this morning from 8am. It is by invitation only and to a select number of individuals from sport, business and the city and county.
We will have a report on the morning later on Sport for Business.
