The Camogie Association has confirmed details of the 2026 Centra Camogie League Finals, with a high-profile weekend of action scheduled for April 11th and 12th, marking a key moment in the domestic sporting calendar and the 50th anniversary of the competition.

Following weeks of competition across five divisions, four finals remain to decide the destination of silverware, with Mayo already crowned Division 3B champions after their victory over Monaghan.

The structure of the finals weekend reflects both the depth of competition and the growing commercial and broadcast appeal of camogie.

Saturday’s Division 2A Final between Kerry and Meath, alongside the Division 3A decider featuring Armagh and Roscommon, will be streamed live via the Camogie Association’s YouTube channel, extending accessibility and audience reach.

Attention will then shift to UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday, where a double-header of elite fixtures will be broadcast live on RTÉ Television. Clare face Dublin in the Division 1B Final, before Waterford meet Galway in the Division 1A showpiece.

In a move reflecting the continued blending of sport and entertainment to enhance matchday experience, rising Irish artist Allie Sherlock will perform at half-time during the Division 1A Final, adding to what is expected to be a strong attendance and viewership across platforms.

The finals weekend also represents an important milestone in the Camogie Association’s partnership with Centra, now in its first year. The collaboration highlights the increasing alignment between community-based sport and national retail brands seeking meaningful engagement with local audiences.

Uachtarán an Chumainn Camógaíochta Brian Molloy described the league campaign as “thrilling” and encouraged supporters to attend, while also acknowledging Centra’s early impact as a partner, noting their “clear passion for the sport.”

The integration of live broadcast coverage, digital streaming, in-person attendance, and entertainment elements underlines the evolving presentation of women’s sport in Ireland.

The league continues to demonstrate strong participation and competitive standards, reinforcing its role as a key platform for player development and community connection.

Rita Kirwan, Marketing Director at Musgrave, positioned the finals as a standout moment in Centra’s first year of involvement, highlighting the “standard of play, the passion in every county, and the connection with local communities” as central to the partnership’s early success.
