
McGuire has been promoting the sport for four years having joined from doing a stellar job at Paralympics Ireland through the Rio Games in 2016.
She has created a number of initiatives that have seen Basketball Ireland move into the front rank of National Governing Bodies and has ensured that the sport has consistently been to the fore of our monthly Irish Sport on Social media Report with Olytico.
McGuire featured in our Social Media Mavens series back when the world was a different place in January.
At the end of April, she will be moving over to the world of Agency taking up a position working within the Sports and Sponsorship team at Wilson Hartnell.
“I’ve had a fantastic four years at Basketball Ireland, working with an excellent team in a time that’s been really exciting for the sport,” McGuire told us over the weekend.
“I’ve met so many fantastic people and have been given so many opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.”
“I’m really looking forward to the new challenge ahead now though and can’t wait to get started.”
