Ger McTavish has been appointed as the new Outdoor recreational Manager at Sport Ireland.
She joins from a successful five-year term as the GAA’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Manager.
She previously worked in Club Development Roles with Special Olympics Ireland, the Irish Amateur Boxing Association, and Ladies Football.
McTavish has been featured on the Sport for Business AIG list of 50 Women of influence in Irish sport. The list will launch for nominations again next week for the 2024 list.
“I am delighted to be taking up this important role and am looking forward to working across the many sectors that impact outdoor recreation,” she said.
Sport for Business, in partnership with Allianz, will hold the 2024 Sport for Business Sport for Social Good Conference on Thursday, October 24th. This is one of ten events currently planned for the remainder of 2024.
