Mercedes–Benz Ballsbridge has been announced as the Official Car Partner for day one of the Irish Champions Festival at Leopardstown Racecourse.
Having first made its debut with Leopardstown Racecourse as the Official Car Partner of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival, this partnership will now expand to day one of the Irish Champions Festival at Leopardstown Racecourse on Saturday, September 14th.
Irish Champions Festival is a two-day flat fixture boasting a prize fund of over €4.5 million across the weekend. It is one of the flagship flat fixtures in the Irish calendar, attracting international runners, riders, and connections.
Racing at Leopardstown features five Group races, including the Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes, which is regularly rated as one of the World’s top flat races. Past winners include Auguste Rodin, Magical, Golden Horn, and Sea The Stars.
Racegoers on day one of the Irish Champions Festival can expect to see prestigious Mercedes–Benz car models displayed around the enclosure, including all-electric and hybrid models as well as petrol and diesel models. Mercedes–Benz Ballsbridge will also have an onsite presence on the day, with opportunities to meet the team.
“Following a successful partnership at the Christmas Festival, we are delighted to announce that Mercedes-Benz Ballsbridge has extended the partnership on the flat racing side,” said Tim Husbands, CEO of Leopardstown Racecourse.
