Munster rugby has signed a two-year partnership with Currys PC World which will see the club provided with a range of technology to assist and analyse players’ performance.

High-end laptops and tablets for in-game and training ground analysis will be among the resources to be made available all the way to the Academy, and that could stretch towards fitness wearables and a growing range of different equipment developed for elite sport but now also available to everyone.

“We are absolutely thrilled to kick-off this partnership with Munster Rugby and know that the technology we’re providing will help to enhance the game for players all across the Academy,” said Pauline Brown, Marketing Director for Currys PC World in Ireland.

“We strive to offer the very best in computer technology, and we are delighted to play our part in helping Munster Rugby. We look forward to seeing the teams perform over the coming months.”

“It is vital that Munster Rugby is at the cutting edge when it comes to technology,” added Munster Rugby Lead Performance Analyst George Murray.

“With the help of Currys PC World we are safe in the knowledge that no stone will be left unturned when it comes to providing the team with the best technology on the market.”
