Irish eyes on Day eight of the Paralympic Games will centre once again on double medalist Róisín Ní Ríaian.

She swims this morning in the heat of the SB13 100 metre Breaststroke with the final on this evening should she make it through.

She has a Silver and a Bronze already at the games, and is in illustrious company alongside Jason Smyth, Michael McKillop and Catherine Walsh on that number at a single games.

The last athlete to make it three medals was Mairead Berry, also in the pool in Sydney 2000.

Elsewhere across Paris there is action on the track at the Stade de France and in the Tennis semi finals and finals at Roland Garros.

The city remains gripped with passionate support of all the Team France athletes with full houses at most of the venues.

Here is when and in what the Irish athletes are competing today.
