Premier Sports has announced the renewal of its broadcast deal with LALIGA, ensuring it will remain the exclusive home of Spain’s top-tier football in the UK and Republic of Ireland until the end of the 2027-28 season.
The new agreement secures live and exclusive coverage of every match in LALIGA EA Sports, with the exception of the Saturday 8 pm fixture, which will be exclusive to subscribers of Disney+.
Premier Sports will show more than 340 games across the 2025-26 season. This includes coverage of iconic clubs such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atlético de Madrid, as well as newly promoted sides Real Oviedo and Levante UD.
“LALIGA continues to set the global standard with its unrivalled flair, tactical brilliance, and a galaxy of stars that light up every matchweek,” said Premier Sports CEO Richard Sweeney.
“From the intensity of ElClásico to the rise of young talents, the league offers drama and excitement like no other.”
The new season kicks off on August 19th, with Real Madrid away to CA Osasuna, before they face Real Oviedo and RCD Mallorca in back-to-back matches. FC Barcelona open their title defence on the road, travelling to RCD Mallorca, Levante UD and Rayo Vallecano before returning to the Olympic Stadium in Montjuïc to host Valencia CF on September 14th.
“Today begins a new era in LALIGA’s broadcast distribution in the UK and Ireland,” added LALIGA President Javier Tebas.
“We’re proud to renew with a valued partner in Premier Sports, to bring the magic of LALIGA to fans across these territories, which have such a deep-seated passion for football, and to welcome Disney+ to our roster for Saturday night games.
