Participants perform at the Red Bull Foxhunt 9/10/2016Red Bull makes energy drinks and ‘kick-ass’ content to promote the brand.  Ireland has a stunning natural environment perfectly suited to the rapidly growing world of adventure sport.

Marry the two together and you can get real magic as the video below from last weekend’s Red Bull Foxhunt in Rostrevor, County Down shows.

Like so many of the ideas that emerge from Red Bull’s intent to create imaginative events this must have seemed like the ramblings of a mad man when it was first proposed but five years in it sells out as soon as registration opens and attracts riders from around the world.

It’s a great looking event made all the more so by strong unified branding and the presence of Go Pro cameras on each of the riders.  Some of the footage you will see below will stay with you for a long time.

The next meeting of our Sports Tourism Group is being planned for early December.  You might keep Wednesday morning, December 14th free in your diaries if you would like to join us for a look back on W2 Consulting’s management of the Sports Tourism strand at the World Travel Market in London next month and at some of the winning Sports Tourism campaigns that have delivered for Ireland this year.

We will publish more details on this event on October 27th but you can reserve your place today by booking below.
