RTÉ Sport has announced details of its live televised GAA Championship coverage for 2025.
Live TV coverage begins on The Sunday Game Live on Sunday, 6th April, on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player, when Joanne Cantwell will present live coverage of Donegal v Derry in the Ulster Senior Football Championship from Ballybofey (throw-in 2:00 p.m.).
That evening on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player, The Sunday Game highlights show returns with Jacqui Hurley at the helm.
As the Championship progresses, there will be live coverage of all four provincial Football finals, the Munster and Leinster Hurling Finals, the Joe McDonagh Cup and Tailteann Cup Finals, and the All-Ireland Semi-Finals in Football, Hurling, and Camogie.
Additionally, Irish-language television commentary will be available on select games from June 7th, starting with the Munster Hurling Final and including the Leinster Hurling Final, All-Ireland Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals in both Football and Hurling, along with the All-Ireland Camogie Final and the Tailteann Cup Final.
RTÉ will announce full coverage of the Championship in the coming weeks.
The number of games to be shown live on the new GAA+ service, which took over from GAAGo but is now fully owned by the GAA, could rise this year.
More details on that coverage are also expected shortly.

SPORT FOR BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE
The GAA Championships provide the rhythm of the sporting summer. While the shorter season has made that feel more frenetic in recent years, the TV coverage is what appeals to the majority of the supporters that are not fully committed to their county. RTÉ’s coverage is central to that and it is good to see the full support of all the key games at the business end of the season.
WHAT’S UP NEXT?
The Allianz League Division Games conclude this weekend with coverage of all Division One and Two games on a mix of TG4 Linear and online channels.
