The European Sponsorship Association Ireland Branch will hold a special networking event on the morning of Wednesday, April 2nd looking back on Irish success at last week’s European Sponsorship awards in London.

The event will take place at the Head office of Electric Ireland on Fitzwilliam Street from 08:15 until 11:00 and will include presentations and conversations with some of those who won ESA Awards for their 2024 work.

REGISTER TO ATTEND ESA IRELAND NETWORKING EVENT

An Post won the Gold in the Best of Europe Category for its ‘Centre Stage’ campaign with the Irish Book Awards.

Sport for Business members Energia, Core, and Irish Rugby won in the Sport Category <£1M for Think of the Possibilities, and Guinness did so in the Sport between £1M and £5M for the Don’t Jinx It campaign, also with Irish Rugby.

Diageo brand Smirnoff, entered by Verve, won Event of the Year for The Collective Stage.

Just Eat -Pride was another winner with Irish roots, entered by Core.

The Ryder Cup won the Sports Rights Holder of the Year, beating fellow Sport for Business member, the Commended Olympic Federation of Ireland.

Londis won the Media Sponsorship Award for the second year in a row with Ireland’s Fittest Family.

Allianz were Highly Commended in two categories, as were Cairn Community Games.

Aer Lingus with Irish Rugby, Electric Ireland for Darkness Into Light, Sky with the Irish Women’s National Team and the Paddy Power Comedy Festival were among the Sport for Business members to pick up Commendations.
