Sean Kelly will be the star attraction on a charity cycle taking place later this month to raise funds for Migraine sufferers across Ireland.

The Migraine Ireland 50 – 100km Cycle is Migraine Ireland’s first cycling event organised to raise vital funds for over 600,000 people in Ireland living with this complex neurological condition.

The two routes will be around the Avon in County Wicklow and Kelly will be pedalling alongside everyone else.

The event will take place on June 25th, 2022 but registrations have to be completed by June 10th.

The first 150 registered participants will receive a high-quality white jersey to wear on the day.

The 100K route is classed as an Intermediate road ride and will require a good level of fitness. It is mostly on well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. Starting in Blessington it takes in the Curragh and across to Monasterevin before looping back and coming into Blessington again via Ballymore Eustace.

The 50K route – will mirror the 100K route until it reaches the Curragh Camp, at that point those cycling the 50K will cut through and ideally join the 100K group on their final approach into The Avon, giving everyone the opportunity to ride with Sean Kelly.

If you fancy it you can register to ride here.
