
Bank of Ireland have announced the five shortlisted companies in each of Munster and Leinster that will get to see their company name on the respective provincial shirts in the European Champions’ Cup in January.
The competition, which is valued at €50,000, offered SMEs throughout Ireland the opportunity to sponsor the Leinster and Munster team for a day.
Previous winners of the competition have included Irish Yogurts, Gahan Meats and Big Red Cloud.
The five companies shortlisted to sponsor the Leinster Rugby team are:
- Pure Bred Gluten Free from Tullamore in Offaly
- Adam & Friends from Dundrum in Dublin
- Laundrie from Grand Canal Square in Dublin
- Acutrace from Clondalkin in Dublin
- Mr Jeffares Blackcurrants from Drinagh in Wexford
The five shortlisted in Munster are:
- RollerJam Roller Skate Rinks – Cork & Limerick
- Skelligs Chocolate – Ballingskelligs, Kerry
- Roche’s Feed – Limerick
- O’Neill Oil – Youghal, Co. Cork
- CelgenTek Limited – Shannon, Co. Clare
“The calibre of companies that entered the competition was very strong again this year,” said Declan Galvin, Head of Small Business at Bank of Ireland.
“We received over 1,200 entries which highlights how relevant this competition is for SMEs. The 10 shortlisted companies are examples of the hard working businesses operating throughout Ireland.”

The competition is now open to a public to vote on www.bankofireland.com/sponsorforaday. Voting will close on Sunday at midnight on 29th November and the winners will be announced on Monday, 1st December.
