The Sport for Business Football Breakfast scheduled to be held at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday, March 19th has been postponed.

“In discussion with colleagues, and some of those who would have been in the audience of around 100 sports and business professionals, we have come to the conclusion that postponing the event is in the best interests of public health, even just within our community,” said Sport for Business CEO Rob Hartnett.

“We are really sorry for the inconvenience this will cause for those who were due to join us, and those who were due to share their thoughts from the stage but these are not ordinary times and we believe this is the right course of action.”

“The story we want to tell though, with regard to Euro 2020 and the FAI is one that we will return to in detail, hopefully in a few short weeks, and we will make an announcement on this as soon as we can.”

Full refunds will be made for those who have booked their places already.

Our hosting and involvement in two events at Trinity College this Thursday, in Women in Sport and Workplace Wellbeing have also been postponed with the College itself going into effective lockdown and Lectures cancelled.

Plans will be made to restage these events as well and we will keep you informed over the coming challenging weeks.

Our Racing Experience breakfast at the Curragh Racecourse on Friday, March 20th is currently expected to go ahead.  A small number of places are still available for this behind the scenes, intimate look at a new sporting venue to be very proud of and some special memories to be created.
